We had a great time today at our 4th Freshman Orientation. It was the largest so far. We have one more to go, on June 27th.
We met so many new freshmen it was crazy! Can’t wait to get each & every one of them plugged in to h2o. This coming year is going to be phenomenal! I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us.
And for you new freshmen…WELCOME TO THE MOST EXCITING ORGANIZATION ON CAMPUS! There is plenty of room for you at h2o! See you in the Fall!

Fall Retreat - Fall Retreat will be held at Seneca Lake Baptist Assembly. All college students and high school juniors/seniors are welcome to attend. The cost is $40/person plus Travel Expenses. Tom Pound from Springhills BC in Newark, OH will be our guest speaker. Worship leader TBA. The weekend will consist of 4 worship sessions, 3 breakout sessions, a missions dinner, free time, and recreation, especially the annual volleyball tournament. Make plans now!
For those of you in the Tiffin area, just wanted to remind you that our Sunday night church, The River Church, will be starting back on Sunday night, June 1st at 6:00pm. We’ll be meeting through the summer at the SCCA (Seneca County Commission on Aging) Building that’s located at 10 Riverside Drive. SCCA is at the corner of Riverside and Washington, just a couple of doors down from The Ritz, right on the river.

This coming Saturday, May 31st, we’ll be taking part in a regional Evangelism Conference, sponsored by the Northcoast Baptist Association. The conference starts at 10:00am and will last until 2:00pm, with a free lunch provided. You’ll be able to choose from several topics such as:
I will be teaching the class on Relational Evangelism. I believe this will be great for us at TU. If you are in the area, I would strongly encourage you to join us at First Baptist Church in Vermilion. This will be a great tool for us in our efforts to share Jesus on our campus. Just in case you’re looking for a good movie to watch over the Memorial Day holiday, you have to make it ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’. Mrs. Denise and I went to see it last night, and we were blown away. I grew up on the Indy movies, and this one is seriously unbelievable. Action packed from the get-go.

Congratulations to Tabitha Whaley, Jessica Finney and Chelsie Gibbons, winners of h2o’s 2008 Scavenger Hunt. They drove, danced, ran, crawled and played all over Tiffin…in the rain. Just wait till next year’s hunt…
We have had an amazing year at h2o. It seems like only yesterday, we were just getting started with classes last fall…now here we are, at the end of the SPRING semester, meeting & networking with the in-coming freshmen at our Freshmen Orientations. We have grown from literally ‘zilch’ to seeing 60 - 70 students each week. I’m continually overwhelmed at the relationships that have begun and prospered because of our h2o Campus Ministry. But more importantly, I’m excited about seeing students develop & deepen their realtionship with Jesus. And next year has all the components of continued growth.
We were totally caught off guard this past week, as we were invited to the Student Leadership Awards presentation, where h2o was given the Outstanding Campus Service Award for 2007-2008! Our students have done a fabulous job impacting their campus. h2o is alive & well at Tiffin University!

Our h2o community meets on Thursday nights at 7:00pm and with The River Church on Sunday nights at 6:00pm, both in Chisholm Auditorium, located in Franks Hall on the Tiffin University campus.
At h2o, we strive to neither act like a religion nor to be identified as another religious body, but as a people following Christ. Jesus did not come into the world to start a religion, he came to start a movement that is relational, transformational, and incarnational. Check us out for yourself…lifechange awaits.
